Nick Van Bloss Miami Concert reviews
Great Atmosphere, But Obstructed View
It was the biggest summer night for WWE and the talent did not disappoint, even if the WWE stagecraft team's view of the event and creativity did. When I bought the tickets, there was no indication that my view would be blocked. My friend and I were welcomed by a pole right in the middle of our line of sight, obstructing a large part of the ring. One of four columns was used to support the lights above the squared circle. The result was that I spent most of the evening watching the show on the big screens. The WWE stagecraft team needs to conduct more research on where line of sight obstructions will happen next time and then mark those tickets with a statement for the buyer.
All matches were thrilling, and the superstars delivered top performances. However, WWE failed to create a visually appealing stage, and most entrances were lackluster, more akin to a house show rather than a major PPV event, except for Edge's entrance.
Parking at the stadium for $100 is outrageous. I guess if people are willing to pay, why not charge it? Nonetheless, there should be some principle involved.
